LOVE STORY

Michelle contacted me about a year ago, all the way from Hong Kong, to book a pre-wedding engagement session with me during their holiday to Cape Town. They wanted to explore the city and have a typical Cape Town life reflect in their images. We planned a full route from mid day through to sunset with various activities. Seeing that it was Kelvin's birthday on their shoot day, we started with unwrapping presents ar their AirBnB in SeaPoint, followed by birthday drinks at the new Gorgeous George Hotel's rooftop bar.

After a wardrobe change we adventured though the CBD, chasing light into empty car parks and almost being denied to take the cable car up the mountain for sunset (we arrived 5mins after the last car left, but the staff was awesome enough to allow us a special ride up seeing that Michelle and Kelvin were dressed in wedding attire :) In my 13 years of living in the city, I have NEVER had the cable car completely empty for golden hour and it was so magical!
