Brenaissance Chapel ceremony
Intimate dinner reception at Spek & Bone Restaurant, Stellenbosch
BACKGROUND
When I first found out that Ross was a pilot, I knew that we would instantly get along sharing a love for travel. A month before their wedding, Caroline passed her pilot's license, making them a power couple even before they said I Do!
Their celebration was the first I could photograph after almost eight months of strict lockdown. They opted for a more intimate gathering so they could spend more time with their smaller guest list.
Caroline and Ross planned all the day's events around spending time with their loved ones. After their vows, they enjoyed sparkling wine under the trees. Every detail of their wedding encouraged making memories. The sharing plates were a modern take on the family-style buffet dinners.
They focussed on the things which matter most to them; their friends and family. They didn't need lavish decorations to make their guests feel loved. Small gestures of kindness were evident throughout the day; writing little love notes to each other before the ceremony, receiving gifts of sentimental value, and having their grandparents present contributed to an utterly memorable celebration.
Here are some of my favorite moments of their special celebration;
