THEIR LOVE STORY

Louis and Lauren contacted me in 2018 to be their wedding photographer. Due to unforeseen health complications, they had to postpone their 2019 wedding date to 2020. Then the global pandemic hit, forcing them to once again review and reschedule their celebration by another year. These two never faltered in their love for each other. They embraced all the uncertainty and held onto what is most important, each other.

After the long wait, they could finally say I Do on 8 May 2021. Even the heavens shed tears of relief! On Friday large portions of the Overberg were flooded and most of the roads to their venue were closed. Yet this did not deter these two from walking down the aisle even if it meant changing ceremony venues at the last minute. The day was nothing short of magic! As soon as the confetti settled, the skies cleared and we were blessed with the most golden sunset.
