LOVE STORY BACKGROUND

Miguel and Miche first met at a university braai. Miche arrived with a bottle of wine and couldn't find a bottle opener. Miguel jumped at the opportunity to assist the damsel in distress. Miche was intrigued by Miguel's ability to make her feel welcome in a social situation. She arrived a stranger, and they left as friends.

Soon they bumped into each other again while attending similar classes and lectures. It wasn't long after that their friendship developed into a romantic relationship.

Miguel frequently joked with Miche that he is only able to afford a Fruit Loops engagement ring. For their engagement, Miguel meticulously planned an afternoon at Babylonstoren. He teamed up with the mothers and hid the engagement ring inside a Fruit Loops box. Miguel guided Miche to the cacti garden to discover the Fruit Loop Box. Miche struggled to retrieve the ring box giving Miguel time to get on his knee to propose. They then celebrated the new chapter with their families with a delicious Babel lunch.
